Continuous strand fiberglass mat, resin and resin hardener are placed in heated matched steel tooling and pressed at 500 tons. The results are hood panels that have cured in the mold so no worries about shrinking or warping. 500 tons of pressure provides the exact same thickness and strength as the original GM hoods.
